I lost around 30K for not returning to outpost after all that bosshunt, I do all small building from area lvl 1-15. Sure you can do bosshunt on higher level but it will be harder and dangerous. The Drop will be в™Ґв™Ґв™Ґв™Ґ and if you have looter III you will be mad cause you will at least hunt 20-30 boss from all that and will surely get an elite, sometimes three in a row. In 2 hour I can gain at least 25-40k exp. I do a bosshunt, Dalbow, Cooper, Archbrook, Haver and other lvl 10 areas. And exp gain from boss is a lot, like alot. Imagine the mission that has more reward. Remember the DF2 Aniversarry Boost? I have a total of 133% exp gain with other boost and its make a simple mission in dalbow that supposely to be 120 exp to 300+ exp to 500 exp. You need massive Exp boost to see the different. Invest in exp boost like Fast learner, OA buff, Weapon and gears buff. You can do almost anything non-character related (killing, looting, or unlocking doors not character related as in healing eating or drinking foods) and you'll get extra xp.

Mission xp stays the same and i can confirm on my missions, looking at the mission's guide, and asking a friend to see how much xp is granted since he doesn't have fast learner nor xp boosts while i do.Д«ut yeah doing stuff after outpost guardien, hell even outpost defender is a good way to earn extra xp. Tested it plenty of times unless you get some sort of invisible side xp from the xp boosts. You'll level like crazy if you only turn in missions and kill bosses with the OA EXP boost XP boosts don't affect mission xps Do the actual missions pre-boost if you have time. Turn in all your missions only when you have the outpost attack EXP boost. Head, gloves, and both weapons with EXP boosts. The point is OA buffs + fast learner + %xp boosts=insane XP gains to the point you may as well have someone else playing the same character helping you get xp. If you can't boss hunt then go killing normal / higher lvl special infected zombies in ll 25+ areas. The best way to maximize without spending much is to get fast learner, Outpost buff then go boss hunting any bosses (even low lvl bosses like lvl 1-lvl 10 give enough xp to be worth it and they usually go down easily if you attack them with high enough items like sawn-off shotguns or M1 Grands). clothing/weapon buff stat for xp% and stat items like halloween candy and christmas candy. looter + looting non-stop an entire building OA + melee expert=easily and cost efficient xp gain from the zombies themselves while the extra boost from Outpost Defender/Guardian (20% xp gain/40% xp gain aside from other stats like elite and finding more ammo anytime you find ammo). Being fast is essential (but again you can be slow as в™Ґв™Ґв™Ґв™Ґ but invest a ton of stats to make a more powerful 1 shot 1 kill build or 1 hit 1 kill melee build).ДЄside from the usual boss grind there's only so many bosses a day and it costs money. Made a guide about this though the guide is more about being able to lvl up faster doing anything in-game instead of just choosing one way to lvl up (like you can probably make as much xp boss killing as killing normal zombies or looting but it requires very specific builds and stats to maximize them).
